Experience

Newson Health

I began my professional digital marketing career at Newson Health Limited, where I worked as both a Digital Marketing Executive and Digital Media Assistant over a span of two years.

My role was multi-faceted, providing me with the opportunity to develop a wide range of digital marketing skills. I supported marketing strategies for Newson Health’s different branches, including the Newson Health Menopause and Wellbeing Clinic, the balance app, and the Newson Health Menopause Society.

I was primarily responsible for maintaining the websites, designing graphics for social media, leading email campaigns, and assisting in the editing and filming of video content.

Hormonally

My first freelance role was with Hormonally, a groundbreaking non-profit on a mission to redefine what it means to be hormonal. Drawn to their empowering approach to hormonal health, I joined as Marketing and Communications Lead to help shape how the organisation shared its message.

From the start, I was involved in developing creative ideas for social media – finding ways to make complex hormonal health topics engaging and accessible, and producing accompanying materials for regular blog posts. I also supported the launch of Hormonally’s email marketing, creating content that built meaningful connections with their growing community.

Health in Menopause

When I joined Health in Menopause, their marketing efforts were split across multiple contractors – with different people managing the website, email marketing, paid ads, and social media. I now manage all of these areas under one cohesive strategy.

This includes running their social channels and creating content, producing monthly newsletters and ad-hoc email campaigns, managing Google and Meta Ads, designing printed materials, and creating digital media for use across clinics, such as presentation slides. I also handle regular website updates and maintenance, ensuring everything from design to communication is joined-up, professional, and aligned with the clinic’s goals.

Emm Technology

Emm first reached out to me for some advice on running social media accounts in the women’s health space – an area I already had plenty of experience in. After an initial voluntary call, they asked me to come on board as a contractor to help guide their marketing efforts in the right direction.

I become part of the marketing team, supporting key areas of Emm’s digital strategy and execution. I helped bring structure to their social media through a consistent content calendar, contributed to wider marketing planning, and developed email campaigns with automated workflows to engage their growing audience.

Alongside this, I oversaw the implementation of SEO across their core web pages to boost visibility and ensure their content reaches the right people.

MRW Waste Recycling

MRW needed someone to guide their website redesign – they had a web designer, but weren’t sure what was required to make the project a success. I stepped in to lead the process, creating clear service pages to improve SEO and implementing an online skip enquiry and booking system to streamline customer enquiries.

I also manage their Google Ads campaigns and continue to oversee regular website updates and maintenance. Alongside this, I keep their social channels active with timely posts that support their brand visibility and customer engagement.

Stratford IT

Stratford IT approached me because, while they had social media accounts, they hadn’t been active in years, and they wanted to build an online presence that reflected their professional but approachable nature.

I relaunched their social media by creating regular, informative content that showcases their services and expertise. I also set up a mailing list with an automated welcome sequence, connected to their website sign-up form, to help them build ongoing relationships with clients.

Jo Castle Hairdressing

Jo came to me because she didn’t have the time or know-how to manage her salon’s social media, but she wanted to use it as a tool to bring in new clients.

Since working together, I’ve helped transform her social platforms into a living portfolio – a place to proudly showcase her work and attract local clients on both Instagram and Facebook. I also transitioned her Facebook from a personal to a business account, improving its professionalism and functionality. Beyond digital, I’ve designed printed collateral, including price lists, business cards, and review request cards.

Heather & Honey

When Sam first reached out, her social media presence didn’t reflect the high quality of her services. Her accounts lacked cohesion and professionalism, and she wanted to attract new clients through stronger visual branding and more engaging video content.

Since coming on board, I’ve refreshed her Instagram and Facebook pages, bringing consistency and polish to her feeds. I’ve created eye-catching, on-brand visuals and engaging reels that showcase her work and personality. Alongside this, I’ve set up and managed a Meta Ad video to support growth and reach new audiences. Now, her social channels feel professional, cohesive and align with her brand.
